Credit Card Processing Fees
To accept credit card payments for your event, you’ll need a payment processor. This is the service that charges your registrants’ cards and deposits funds into your bank account.
RedPodium includes a built-in option called Webconnex Payments, our preferred processor. It offers seamless reporting, features like Apple Pay and Google Pay, and direct support from our team. You can also connect a third-party payment processor for an additional fee if needed. Below is a breakdown of payment processing fees.

You are billed differently for your RedPodium fees depending on if your pages are processing through Webconnex Payments, our in-house payment processor, or a custom payment processor.
Fees when processing through Webconnex Payments
Fees when processing through Webconnex Payments
When a registrant pays online through Webconnex Payments, RedPodium platform and processing fees are deducted automatically from your payout before the funds reach your bank account. These fees are never charged to the card on file. A card on file is only required in specific situations listed below.
Times when a Card on File is Required
With Webconnex Payments, a card on file is required in certain situations. When a card on file is needed, RedPodium bills any applicable charges every 30 days. Premium Features: When using Premium features like Drip Campaigns, Text Messaging, and Mobile Pay Pass, you must add a card on file to process these charges. Click here for a list of Premium features that require a card on file
Offline Payments: A card on file is required when you enable offline payments on a page. When registrants pay offline, the associated RedPodium fees are charged to the card on file and invoiced monthly
Disabled Billing: If you turn off billing on a RedPodium page for a free registration page, a card on file is required. This applies even if your fees are waived due to prior paid events in RedPodium, RegFox, TicketSpice, or donations through GivingFuel
