If your event welcomes international registrants, RedPodium makes it easy to collect both international addresses and phone numbers during registration. When enabled, registrants outside the U.S. can select their country, enter a non-U.S. address, and input an international phone number in the correct format.

In this article, you’ll learn how to enable or disable international support, set default countries for each field, and ensure your form is ready for global registrants.

NOTE: This article walks through how to allow registrants to enter international addresses and phone numbers. If you would like to learn how to accept transactions in international currencies, click here.

Enable or Disable International Addresses

By default, RedPodium pages allow registrants to enter international addresses. This means users outside the U.S. can select their home country and enter their billing information accordingly. Please note that all transactions will still be processed in the currency set on your RedPodium page.

  • From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you'd like to edit

  • Scroll to the address field you want to edit, and click the pencil icon

  • Click Advanced Options in the lower right corner

  • Toggle the International option to Yes or No

  • When International is toggled to Yes, it provides the option to choose the default country

  • Click the Done button

  • Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page

Pro Tip: For consistency, we recommend setting the Address fields in both the registration section and the billing section of your page to use the same international settings.

Enable or Disable International Phone Numbers

RedPodium allows you to collect international phone numbers by enabling country code selection on your registration form. This lets registrants outside the U.S. enter their number in the correct format. You can turn this setting on or off and set a default country code to match where most of your registrants are located. Note that this setting does not affect your currency settings—transactions will still process in the currency set on your page.

  • From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you'd like to edit

  • Scroll to the phone number field you want to edit, and click the pencil icon

  • If the phone number field has been disabled, toggle the Enable button to Yes

  • Click Advanced Options in the lower right corner

  • Toggle the Number Format to either be USA or International

  • When International is selected, it provides the option to choose the default country

  • Click the Done button

  • Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page

Pro Tip: For consistency, we recommend setting the Address fields in both the registration section and the billing section of your page to use the same international settings.
