The social media settings help you advance your brand consistency by giving you control over what people will see when your registrants share your registration page to social media or other places of the internet.

Add or update social media post content

  • From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you'd like to add or update social media content for

  • Hover your mouse over the Promote tab in the top menu bar

  • Select Social and SEO from the dropdown

  • Here is where you can update the title, description and image that gets shared to social media

Add a Like button or Comment box

In your page builder you have the ability to add a Facebook like button or comment box to your page. You also can set the max number of comments that can display on your page so it doesn't take up too much space.

  • From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you'd like to add a Like button or comment box on

  • Scroll down and hover your mouse over the field you'd like to add this field after and click the plus button

  • Select Facebook Plugin from the menu of field options

  • Choose whether you'd like to add a Like Button or Comments


Add a social share option to your confirmation page

When a registrant completes their registration, you can have a pop up window prompt appear, inviting them to share the event to social media. Customize the title and message that appears with the share buttons.

  • From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you'd like to add a social share option to the confirmation page

  • Hover your mouse over the Confirmation Page tab in the top menu bar

  • Check the Show Pop-up box and click Edit Pop Up

  • Add your custom title and message

  • Save and Publish your changes


Add or Update SEO settings

  • From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you'd like to add or update social media content for

  • Hover your mouse over the Promote tab in the top menu bar

  • Select Social and SEO from the dropdown

  • Here is where you can update the title and meta description and view a sample of how this will display on Google


FAQs

I updated my social sharing info, but it is still showing the old content and image on Facebook and elsewhere. What do I do?

Facebook and other websites cache info that is shared. You may need to use a refresh tool to refresh what Facebook is seeing and posting. Here is how to do so.
